Congratulations, Independent!

We have been certified as a "No Place for Hate" school 8 years in a row! 

INDY started the No Place for Hate program (created by the Anti-Defamation League) in 2018 after a parent brought the idea to the principal. As a school, we take a yearly pledge to promote respect and inclusion, and throughout each school year, the student council leads the community in completing at least three intentional activities focused on reducing bias and building a positive, inclusive culture—such as lessons, student-led campaigns, or schoolwide events.
