With Gratitude from Castro Valley Unified School District
Dear Castro Valley Unified Community,
As we approach Thanksgiving break, I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude for each of you. Over the past five months, in my new role as Superintendent, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know this remarkable community at a deeper level. There is profound dedication, compassion, and commitment to our students.
I am thankful for our hardworking and caring staff, whose daily efforts make our schools vibrant places of learning and belonging. I am inspired by our amazing students, who remind us every day why this work matters. Their curiosity, creativity, and resilience are truly unmatched. And I am genuinely appreciative of our parents and community partners, who show up time and again with a level of generosity and collaboration that make Castro Valley a true model of partnership.
As we pause to give thanks, I hope each of you find time to rest, reflect, and enjoy the company of family and friends. Together, we continue to build something extraordinary for our students, and I am so grateful to be on this journey with you.
With gratitude and warm wishes for a wonderful holiday break,
Dr. Nia Rashidchi
